I’m Avram Ion, a packaging designer and commercial food & beverage photographer with over 20 years of experience turning creative ideas into distinctive visual identities and compelling product imagery.
My work brings together design, photography and a deep understanding of how products are made, presented and experienced. I approach every project with the eye of a designer and the sensibility of a photographer, combining creative vision with technical precision and attention to detail. My packaging designs have been recognised with two Bronze A’Design Awards, in 2019 and 2020.
Photography is an essential part of my creative practice. I personally oversee every stage of the process, from food styling, composition and lighting to advanced retouching and meticulous image editing. Using professional photography, Photoshop and 3ds Max, I create images shaped by my own artistic decisions and technical expertise, without the use of AI-generated imagery.
My experience in branding and packaging extends from visual identity and creative concepts to structural layouts, dielines and print-ready artwork. Having worked closely with printers and manufacturers for many years, I understand how to translate an original design into a finished product without compromising its visual impact.
Whether I’m designing packaging or creating a photograph, my goal is the same: to give each product a distinctive visual character through thoughtful design, craftsmanship and a consistent creative vision.
